Classic Motorcycle Mecca originally opened in November 2016, owned by HW Richardson Group’s tourism branch Transport World, Classic Motorcycle Mecca is located in a heritage building in 27 Tay Street with it associated Meccaspresso Café operating next door from 25 Tay Street.
Henderson Construction’s work in 25 Tay Street started with earthquake strengthening the entire building and stripping back to its bare bones “to bring back its beauty” which had been hidden over the years, and this was undertaken with the motorcycle museum and café remaining open.
The next stage will involve earthquake strengthening of 27 Tay Street.
